The Annual Fall Festival is held on the campus of The Children's Home of Lubbock each
September. In addition to being a fund-raiser, this event serves as an opportunity for our friends and supporters to enjoy our beautiful campus and get to know students and staff.
The 2009 Fall Festival was held on Saturday, September 19. Featured guests included: The Lubbock Christian High School Drum Line, horses and riders from the Texas Boys Ranch, Caprock Corvette Car Club, inflatable games, and horse-drawn carriages. There was a barbeque meal by Good Tastes, our children's parade (hayride, carriage, train, tractor, bicycles, floats), and the bake sale,
Live entertainment was provided by Silver Wings, Hannah Howard, Prairie Winds Chorus, and Parson's Elementary School Choir. Children enjoyed all the rides and inflatable games...and the parade was, as always, a BIG hit. Adults especially enjoyed the silent auction benefiting the Home.
