What
will the kids be like?
Children in need of basic
foster care may:
- Range
in age from birth to 17 years
- Be
a member of any racial or ethnic group
- Have
been sexually, emotionally, and physically abused or neglected
- Belong
to a sibling group that must be placed together and, if not placed
together, must maintain regular visits with each other
Children in need of therapeutic
foster care may:
- Have
been born drug exposed
- Have
professionally diagnosed emotional disabling condition
