Thank you for stopping to visit The Children's Home of Lubbock web site. We would like to invite you to come by our campus for a personal visit anytime you are in the Lubbock area. The Children's Home of Lubbock is the fruit of a vision born out of the post World War II years. As an outreach of the Broadway Church of Christ, the home opened its doors in 1954. Since that date, more than 5,000 children have been provided services through the Children's Homes ministries. Without the vision of great dreamers and the hard work and dedication of committed supporters and staff, the Home would not be the leader in child care that it is today. We are committed to our mission of providing the highest quality of services for boys and girls with the same model of compassion demonstrated by Christ as he walked this earth. As you visit the various links in this web site, hopefully you will get a flavor of life at The Children's Home of Lubbock. The buttons on the left will take you on a campus tour, to a message from the President, or to see some recent photos of our children. We are a community of folks, workers and supporters, pouring our efforts together to make life better for children who need to see that caring and love do exist in a world that has often been unfair and unjust. Write us or call us and let us know what you think about our web site or for more information of how you can be involved in transforming the life of a child. |
